The working principle of the pulse bag filter is based on the filtering effect of the filter bags and the pulse jet cleaning mechanism. The dusty gas enters the dust collector through the inlet, passes through the filtering effect of the filter bags, and the dust is retained on the outer surface of the filter bags while the clean gas passes through the inner part of the filter bags and is discharged through the outlet. When the dust on the filter bags accumulates to a certain extent, the control system will send a signal, and the pulse valve will open. Compressed air will be sprayed out through the pulse jet pipe, forming a high-speed airflow, causing the filter bags to expand instantly and generating intense vibration, thereby shaking off the dust attached to the filter bags. The shaken dust falls into the ash hopper and is finally discharged through the ash removal device.

The specific working principle is as follows:

Dust-laden gas entry: The dusty gas enters the ash hopper through the inlet of the dust collector. Due to the sudden expansion of the gas flow area, the flow velocity decreases, and some larger and denser dust particles are subject to gravity and settle in the ash hopper.

Filtering process: Dust particles follow the gas flow into the bag dust removal chamber. Dust particles are blocked on the outer surface of the filter bags through a combination of inertia, collision, sieving, and electrostatic effects. The purified air flows from the top of the filter bag into the upper box and is discharged through the outlet.

Cleaning process: When the dust on the filter bags accumulates to a certain extent, and the resistance of the dust collector increases to the set value, the control system will issue a cleaning instruction. The pulse valve will open, and compressed air will be sprayed out through the pulse jet pipe. The high-speed airflow causes the filter bags to expand instantly and generate intense vibration, shaking off the dust attached to the filter bags. The shaken dust falls into the ash hopper.

Ash removal process: The dust in the ash hopper is discharged regularly through the ash removal device.

The key components of the pulse bag dust collector include filter bags, pulse valves, pulse jet pipes, ash hoppers, and control systems. These components work together to ensure the high operation and convenient maintenance of the dust collector. In addition, modern pulse bag dust collectors also integrate intelligent control modules. Through monitoring devices such as pressure sensors and differential pressure transmitters, real-time operating data is collected, and the cleaning parameters are dynamically adjusted to achieve an online operation rate of over 98% for the equipment.
