The DMC-120 120-cloth pulse jet bag-type dust collector is a commonly used medium-sized single-unit dust removal equipment in industry, suitable for various dust-generating conditions. It has high purification efficiency, stable operation, and convenient maintenance.
1. Core Structure
Cabinet System: It is divided into three parts: upper (clean air chamber + pulse jet device), middle (filter bag suspension area), and lower (sieve box + ash discharge valve). The cabinet is mostly made of carbon steel welded, with good sealing performance. There is an inspection door for convenient replacement of filter bags. There are two common forms: A (with sieve box) and B (flangeless without sieve box).
Filter System: Standardly equipped with 120 filter bags (commonly φ130×2450mm), the total filtration area is approximately 90–120㎡; the filter bag material can be selected as polyester (PET, with a temperature resistance of ≤120℃), PTFE coating (with stronger temperature resistance and corrosion resistance), and the filtration accuracy can reach 0.3–1μm; a galvanized stainless steel cage is provided to prevent filter bags from collapsing.
Pulse Cleaning System: Includes air box, DMF-Z right-angle pulse valve, pulse jet pipe, Wenshi tube, intelligent pulse control instrument; the pulse jet pressure is 0.4–0.6MPa, the pulse jet time is 0.1–0.2s, and the cleaning cycle can be adjusted to ensure uniform cleaning of each filter bag.
Air Outlet and Electrical Control: Built-in fan + motor, automatically controlled by the pulse control instrument during cleaning, supports manual and automatic switching, and some can be networked for monitoring.
2. Working Principle
Filtering Stage: Dust-laden gas enters the middle cabinet through the inlet, and the dust is retained on the outer surface of the filter bags. Clean gas passes through the filter bags and enters the upper clean air chamber, then exits through the outlet;
Cleaning Stage: When the resistance of the filter bag rises to the set value (usually around 1200Pa), the control instrument triggers the pulse valve, compressed air in the air box is rapidly injected into the filter bag through the pulse jet pipe + Wenshi tube, causing the filter bag to expand instantaneously and reverse impact, and the dust falls into the sieve box;
Ash Discharge: Dust in the sieve box is discharged through a screw conveyor, star-shaped ash discharge valve, etc., to achieve continuous intermittent ash discharge.
3. Applicable Scenarios
It is widely used for the purification of small-scale dust-generating points in industries such as building materials (cement, ceramics), metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, mechanical processing, grain processing, boiler flue gas workshops, etc.; especially suitable for working conditions with high dust emission requirements and continuous stable operation.
5. Core Advantages and Maintenance Points
Advantages: Compact structure, small footprint; strong cleaning capacity, stable efficiency; high automation level, low operation and maintenance costs; flexible filter bag selection, adaptable to different dust and temperatures;
Maintenance: Regularly check the pulse valve, air box pressure, and whether the filter bags are damaged or clogged; maintain the air source dryness (with oil-water separator); in high-humidity and high-temperature conditions, add insulation or cooling measures; in explosion-proof areas, select anti-static and explosion-proof configurations.
