The stainless steel three-drive shaftless screw conveyor is a special conveying equipment, specifically designed for long-distance, high-torque and high-output working conditions. Basic definitions and structure
Core structure: Composed of three independent motor-reducer drive units, continuous unshiftable stainless steel spiral blades, U-shaped/round stainless steel chambers, wear-resistant (based on actual reports) liners (nylon/PE/ceramic), sealing covers, inlets and outlets, and frames; The three drives are usually arranged in segments along the body (such as the head, middle, and tail points), and are synchronized to protect the helical body from rotating abnormally.
Material: Commonly used 304 stainless steel (general corrosion resistance (based on actual reports)); 316/316L (resistant to strong acids and alkalis / food and medicine); The spiral blades are mostly cold-rolled/welded thick plates, and the tank body is welded from stainless steel plates and undergoes sealing treatment.
Working principle: Three-drive synchronous drive of the spiral blade without shaft is used for rotation. The friction force between the blade and the material, as well as the screw thrust, enable the material to move axially along the tank body; there is no intermediate shaft, avoiding the entanglement of fibers and band-shaped materials; segmented drive significantly reduces the deflection and torsional vibration of the long spiral.

Selection and Key Points to Pay Attention To
Drive force synchronization: A variable frequency synchronous control system must be equipped to prevent the speed difference of the three-point drive from causing spiral distortion;
Tilt angle control: The general tilt angle should be ≤ 20°. If the tilt angle is too high, the efficiency will drop sharply and it is prone to backflow.
Backing plate material: Abrasive materials (such as slag) are selected as ceramic/metal-resistant (based on actual reports) or alloy backing plates. Non-elastic materials are selected as PTFE/nylon.
Temperature range: Regular stainless steel is applicable within -20 to 120℃. In high-temperature conditions, a cooling/insulation jacket needs to be equipped.
